Tailoring
In here you can see all tailors I've made, some are part of different collab projects, but some others are just personal projects I wanted to make.
XV Girl
In this film the different stages of a woman growing up are really important so I chose having the XV as a really important part of the film. This is when the girl becomes a woman in the eyes of god and society. Also, the dress that quinceaneras uses are gorgeous, so it gave myself an opportunity to create my dream XV dress.
Dad Charro
The dad is the main character of the film, and I wanted to represent matureness and adulthood, but also my Mexican Culture. I wanted to represent the style of Mexico and how much culture we have. I thought the best way to do that was by referencing charros for my clothing style.
Bride
There are so many styles for wedding dresses, so it was hard to choose a design for the film. I have two older sisters who married already, so I got a lot of inspiration in both of their dresses to have that family style on the film. After a lot of research I ended up coming with this design who ended up being my favorite piece of the film.
Little Girl
For this version I wanted to show the innocence and fun of a child in the dress. I though having a really puffy dress would be the perfect representation of that. This was probably the most challenging piece of the project, however I am really proud of how it ended up.
Wolf Tailor
For this tailor I wanted to try having an animal for the character. It was challenging finding a character that did not have the same proportions as a human, however I ended up falling in love with this character and wanted to try to play with her style.
Aang
Everyone who grew up watching Aang The Last Airbender and works on 3D work always wondered how would it look if the whole show was 3D. Well I was one of them, I wanted to experiment in using 2D as reference and making it 3D and creating the style. It was an amazing and fun adventure and probably one of my favorite projects.
